New!!! Questions for the exam (plus there will 2 additional questions about Praat not listed here)
To get your final grade you need to:
1. Submit per email the Word document containing solutions for the tasks 3 (F0 measurement), 4 (vowel formants, plus paste the graph representing relation between F1 and vowel type and F2 & vowel type, see the example below), 6 (... determine duration of phonemes on the basis annotations in TextGrid file). For task 6 you can use this file (in case you do not have your own TextGrid). Let me remind you that textgrid is a text file which can be opened in Notepad or any other text editor and you can read this file in Excel to calculate phoneme durations.
2. Take and pass the exam: it will be oral and you will be asked 5 questions from 3 different areas:

There are two dates for the exam: June 18 or June 25.
3. An alternative to taking the exam is to prepare a report about the experiment that we started last Monday (05.07.2018). This report should contain all the parts listed on the website. It is not required to provide the Excel file with the calculations, but graphs and tables created during data analysis (in Excel) should be pasted into the report.
The get the final grade you will have to submit the report by the end of the day June 25.

- articulatory phonetics (The Vocal Tract and Initiation of Speech)
- acoustic phonetics (Speech analysis)
